J'aime les Belges @ Paris Fashion Week

Hi there,

it's over... the moment so many fashionista's have been waiting for, dreaming of, participating, writing about... Paris Fashion week has passed yet again...

Belgium is such a small country, but I think we offer so much: good food, good beer, good models and good designers. I'm so proud of the Belgian designers. Sometimes the Kanye Wests and Kim Kardashians of this world seem to steel the limelight for these incredible designers and their hard work.

Dries Van Noten

He always seems to be doing so well at combining basics with some extraordinary shapes and textiles. They look so clean cut but it's so sophisticated. I'm in love with the colour palette he chooses. Love the auburn colours mixed with the gold and the flower textiles. Very on-trend. Here you can see my favourite pieces.

Dior - Raf Simons

Of course we cannot forget about Dior. I like the timeless elegance of Dior. I love how he uses these bubblegum colours. They look like they came straight from a 70's graduation ball. The dresses look very simple yet very elegant. I'm so in love with the collection. For the people who don't like these vibrant colours, there is also enough black to go with.

Anthony Vaccarello

If you like black, sophisticated with a hint of futurism... than you have found your match. The fabrics look very chique; the details are so well thought through. It's mainly a black and white affair with a hint of red leather.

Maison Martin Margiela

It's a very extraordinary, colourful collection. It reminds me of Carnivale meets haute couture with the striped trousers and tattoo-embellished tops. It looks a bit creepy but in a good way, just like carnivale did. Many rich, bold and eclectic fabrics are all combined together.

What do you think of the Belgians? Did they well?

What's in a name?

As you may have seen, is the title of my blog not my real name...

It's actually not really a name but more a place. Last year we went to Saint-Remy de Provence on a holiday. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and we went by car.

I was in such a good place driving on 'Autoroute du soleil'. My oldest son (nearly 2 years) in the back seat, my husband next to me and my little one safe in my belly.

When driving, I saw this traffic sign:

I thought it was such a cool name when you pronounce it in English, although these are 2 French cities. I was joking around with my husband saying that he should use it as a new band name for his music project. That didn't happen... So I thought it would be a waste for not using it.

When I decided to start this blog, I did not doubt for a second to use Nancy Mulhouse!

Here are some pics of that amazing holiday! Seeying this pictures makes me want to go back... Oh sunshine...

So what do you think? Is it a good name or not?

It's Golden

It is that time of the year, award season... I love it; all these beautiful gowns on the Red Carpet. It makes you start dreaming of wearing one yourself...

Here are my 5 favorites from The Golden Globes:

Mila Kunis in Gucci.

Face it: Mila looks good in a bin bag. I really love this color on her. It is just a gorgeous dress.

Zooey Deschanel in Oscar De La Renta.

I always love her different approach on the red carpet. This is such a cute dress.

Sarah Hyland in Georges Hobeika.

Waw the color, the simplicity. This dress is spot on and doesn't anything else.

Louise Roe in Monique Lhuillier.

I love the dress, I think Louise is a little bit overtanned, but she has the body to wear a dress like this.

Olivia Wilde in Gucci.

Oh My God, I wish I looked this good during my two pregnancies... Bravo

So which one is your favourite?

My New Armcandy

I got home from work today and I found the nicest thing in the mail... Two bracelets with the names of my sons. I chose it myself, but how nice is it to come home to that :-)

I think they look timeless and I'm so proud to wearing them. I love the simplicity and the golden color.

So thank you very much Yo Me Jewelry for making my bracelets! They are so nice and helpful as well.

Please tell me what you think of them.
